Galatasaray Kick Mancini

Galatasaray have announced that they have parted company with their manager Roberto Mancini with immediate effect. The Italian came to the club only a few months ago, but his time at the club has been met with almost no improvement in form. Despite taking the club to the Champions League last 16 stage, Mancini failed to improve the league form. As a result, Galatasaray finished in a disappointing second place – almost 10 points behind table leaders Fenerbahce. This was after winning the title last season. Hence, Galatasaray have decided to go for a new manager in the hope of improving the form.

Enrique's Failure Due To Totti

Former Roma manager Luis Enrique has discussed suggestions that he failed at the Italian side after falling out with captain Francesco Totti. Even though the Italian legend is coming to the end of his career at almost 40 years of age, he still continues to be an integral part of the Roma team. There have been suggestions that Luis Enrique, who managed Roma after leaving the Barcelona B team, failed to achieve success at the Italian Serie A outfit due to his relationship with Totti. Totti commands a lot of respect in the dressing room and is thought to have wished upon the exit of Enrique.

Pellegrini Accidently Insults Mancini

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has indirectly hit out at the club’s former manager, Roberto Mancini, after winning the Premier league title. City managed to win the second league title in three years in spectacular fashion after a 2-0 win over West Ham. Despite leading the table only for 11 days throughout this season, City have managed to finish where it matters most. Even more than the victory, Pellegrini appears to have made the club likeable since they have been playing a brand of football that has been very attractive.

MANCINI SLAMS NASRI

Former Manchester city manager Roberto Mancini recently criticised Samir Nasri for the attitude he has shown since joining the club from Arsenal in a £ 25 million deal a few years ago. Mancini was the manager who brought him to the Etihad stadium.

However, it became clear after just 12 months that the pair fell out with each other. There is even suggestions that Nasri could have been sold in the summer had Mancini stayed on as the manager of the club. Instead, he was replaced by Manuel Pellegrini in the summer.

Jose Mourinho, Chelsea manager strongly believes that Didier Drogba still remains by far of one of finest strikers the industry has seen.

Galatasaray take on Chelsea in the last 16 of the Champions League looking to beat the favourites to win the English league title.

Galatasaray managed to reach this stage after beating Juventus in very difficult circumstances in the final group match. However, Roberto Mancini has almost conceded defeat ahead of this encounter by saying that Chelsea are almost 80% certain to go through to the next round. A win for the blues in Turkey should be enough to see them through, although it has been a difficult place for English clubs to visit in recent years.

Roberto Mancini help Manchester City win the first Premier league title in their history, but he was sacked in the year after following their failure to win any trophy.

Now in charge of Galatasaray, the Italian has criticised his former club for talking with potential candidates before he was sacked. Mancini alleges that City were in talks with the likes of Carlo Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola over the possibility of replacing the Italian. Manuel Pellegrini was ultimately chosen as a replacement, but he came to the club only in the summer.

Galatasaray’s season campaign so far has been a good one with consistent performances and good results that has allowed them on maintaining their spot in the top spots of the Turkish league. Roberto Mancini’s side has been linked with a number of players that might or might not be arriving in January.

The Turkish team has already displayed interest in signing Manchester United’s Alexander Buttner and Moyes is willing on letting him go if the price is right. Buttner has failed on making an impact with the team and has only made 2 appearances with United so far in this season.

Roberto Mancini enjoyed probably the best spell of his managerial career at Inter Milan by getting the club to numerous league titles. The former Manchester city manager recently took over at the Turkish club Galatasaray. At the same time, his former club Inter Milan have changed ownership after a long time.

Massimo Moratti, who has been the president of the club for almost 2 decades, will be stepping down after he sold a major stake in the club to Indonesian investors.

International Sports Capital have bought 70% of Inter Milan to become the major shareholders.
